Senator Payman – Senate Acknowledgement
On the 6th November 2025, Senator Fatima Payman acknowledged Phoenix Support & Advocacy Service during a 2-minute speech in the Australian Senate. What a privilege to have our organisation and the needs of victim survivors of child sexual abuse so beautifully represented. Senator Payman’s words are a reminder that despite limited funding and increasing demand, Phoenix continues to deliver hope, safety and support where it’s needed most.
