About Dr Jessica Taylor

Dr Jessica Taylor is a British psychologist, bestselling author, and campaigner who specialises in trauma-informed and anti-victim-blaming approaches to supporting women and girls affected by abuse and exploitation. She is the author of Why Women Are Blamed for Everything and Sexy But Psycho, both international bestsellers highlighting systemic bias against women.

Through her organisation VictimFocus and frequent work with media outlets such as Netflix and the BBC, Dr Taylor continues to advocate for survivor-centred responses to trauma. She brings her expertise and compassion to Phoenix as our Patron, championing dignity, awareness, and empowerment for all survivors.
